School uniform

I have ordered more school uniform which will arrive during the first week of January. I don’t anticipate a price change.

I will be in the office from 09:00 – 14:00 on Monday 11 and Tuesday 12 January if you need to buy more uniform.

On Thursday 3 December we will go on an outing to Ananda where we will be able to swim and celebrate the end of the school year. There is no cost. Please ensure that children bring snacks and drinks as well as their swimming costumes and towels. All teachers will be in attendance. They may wear their sports kit.

Places for 2016

Applications have been rolling in and we are almost full in Grade 8 and 9. However, we are hoping to be able to open another class in these grades in 2016 so are still accepting applications. Successful applicants will be placed on a waiting list and notified as soon as more places become available.

There are still places available in Grade 10 and applications are welcome.

Basketball play-offs

Play-offs kicked off on Heritage day, 24th September 2015, at the Royal Bafokeng sports palace. It was a day of smiles and tears as a great display of skill and talented kids was on shown. In our first season of the basketball programme we made it to League play-offs. In the quarter finals we played against Matsukubyane Middle School. The game started well but with both team still struggling to find the rhythm. Oratile Seome opening the scoring with a rebound put back so Kitsong was leading by two defensive blocks then Onkarabetse Monyatsi followed with 6 points to end the half with 08 –  11 Matsukubyane Middle School.

In the second half Matsukubyane Middle School showed they  were the team with experience. The final score was Kitsong 13 – 29 Matsukubyane Middle School.

Our girls have worked hard at developing their basketball skills this year and we congratulate them on their excellent first season.
